Well, here we are. We have been blessed with three daughters ~ all born prematurely.
Our first daughter, Naomi Elizabeth was born 9 weeks early and weighed 1 lb. 10 oz. She was perfect in every way, but her heart wasn't beating. My husband and I were devasted. God has showered us with His healing grace and we know that His will is perfect ~ even when we don't understand His plan. Naomi would be 4 this year....
Caris Ann was born a year later .... weighing 3lbs. 2 oz. She stayed in NICU for 7 weeks.... and to this day still rarely sleeps thru the night. She is a sweet 3 yr. old.... who is potty trained and loves doing "big girl stuff".
Sadie Marie arrived 15 weeks early (yes, she was a 25 weeker). Weighing 1 lb. 2 oz. (at birth), with large brain bleeds and severe lung issues. Sadie was in NICU for 4 months. Today she is 17 months old (13 adjusted) and is the most precious baby. Sadie has come a long way.... and God continues to bless us in so many ways.
I, Megan, am blessed to be called mom and wife. God has entrusted me with this little family and I wouldn't trade it for anything.
My husband, Chris, is "papa." When he isn't shepherding us, he serves as a pastor. He loves his calling!
